The Thing
in the House

One night at at around 11:30 p.m., I was walking through my living room, then into the kitchen to get a drink. When I walked out, I heard this most horrifying moan. It was like there was someone standing right next to me moaning right in my ear. I dropped my glass and ran in fright looking for someone. I found nothing. Then I decided to just calm down and thought that my imagination was playing tricks on me. I sat on a chair next to my table which had a 20-lb. box on it. Suddenly, this box just scooted off. I jumped up and backed into the middle of the room, then I felt this sudden electrical-type current pass right through me. That is when I ran outside and went to stay at a friend's. I stayed there for about a week, then I came home. I figured that "thing" left. One night as I was sleeping, my bed shook crazily. I ran downstairs and just got on the computer. I felt like recording my self on the voice recorder. I recorded myself for a while. When I got bored I just let it record nothing. I noticed that the little recording wave was moving but I heard absolute silence. I turned the volume up and played it. It sounded like: "Help me. Please, help me." So now I am living in this house with some spirit of some kind, not knowing what to do.
