Saved from a Rip Tide

When I was a little girl, I went to day camp. One day in day camp we went on a field trip to the beach. Some friends and I were playing in the water when I got caught in a rip tide. At the time I didn't know it was a rip tide and I didn't know what to do. I tried to scream for help and swim against it, but it didn't help. I looked around and there was no one around. The water was getting deeper. Then, all of a sudden I looked up and saw this old couple standing ON the water looking down at me. To this day I still don't know how they could've gotten there or how they were standing on the water. There were no sand bars around. I don't even remember how I got back to shore, but when I did, I looked back and they were no where to be found. Were they angels? I don't know. Could be...
