Strange Circles of
Light

My wife and I and our two boys live in the small town of Driftwood in the mountains of north central Pennsylvania. This is in the center of Pennsylvania's elk heard. There is a large field next to our property and I bought a night vision scope to look for elk at night from our deck without scaring them off. One night while I was using the night scope looking for wildlife from our deck, I noticed about 20 feet from our house were two circles or discs of dim light. They were about three to four feet in diameter and looked like a television with no picture - snowy and fuzzy - and there was no sound.
They seemed to be kind of scanning the area moving very slowly in no particular direction. I immediately went in and got my wife to come and witness this so she wouldn't think I was going bonkers and my youngest son woke also and came out and witnessed this. They couldn't be seen without the night vision scope which also has infra red capabilities. I told my wife I was going to go stand in one and look up with the scope, but she was freaking out too bad and insisted I didn't do that. I wish now I would have. I have never seen them again and have no idea what they were, but I still look for them.
