Strange
White Object

When I was much younger, around eight years old, one night I went to take a nap in my room after it was dark out. I was sleeping in my room with the door shut and the lights out. And as I often do, I just woke up. Strange thing is there was a strange white object suspended in mid-air about four feet off the floor, about two feet from my bed, about the middle of the room. The white object was self-illuminating, very easy to see, but at the same time it didn't give off light. It was illuminated, yet everything in the room was still dark as it was before the object was there.
I sat up on the edge of the bed and stared directly at the object now a couple feet in front of my face. The object appeared to be a scroll, such as I have seen where you unroll it from both ends. I figured, why not touch it and see what happens. All the while it was perfectly white, and self-illuminating, but at no time gave off light to me or the rest of the room. I reached out with my left hand and proceeded to try to touch the object from left to right. As my hand reached the object, my hand seemed to be passing in front of the object. I thought I was judging the distance right, but my hand as I moved it from left to right across the space where I thought the object was, my hand actually appeared to be passing in front of the object. As my hand passed in front of the object, it disappeared where my hand had passed in front of it, but only where my hand had passed in front of it.
I continued from left to right until my hand completely crossed in front of the object and it was just gong then, like I had erased it by passing my hand in front of it. I just sat there on my bed thinking, Is that it? What was it? That is weird, I have never seen anything like this before. I told my parents, but of course I was a kid and they didn't really take me seriously. I have never seen anything like this again ever.
I had had one other very strange experience with my brother in that same bedroom however at night when we were playing late at nigh! t in the dark, pretending monsters were going to coming to attack us. We were under the covers and the room suddenly started fluctuating a wide range of colors. I tried to crawl off the bed, but I couldn't reach the floor with my feet. I hung from my waist off the bed trying to touch the floor, but my legs and feet just dangled in the air. I was a bit terrified and did all I could do to keep from falling off the bed as I was starting to slip off, but my feet couldn't reach the floor. Just so you know, this bed was only 1½ feet to 2 feet off the floor, that is to the top of the mattress.
We huddled under the blankets for a short period of time, half minute or less and the colors in the room went away and it was just dark again. My brother also was scared a few times where he had said something was grabbing onto his legs at night. I had also one time felt someone touch me at night in that room, but when I jumped up, no one was there. These events were all when I was younger between five and 10 years old. Was it because I was young and had a wild imagination or was it because it was real? It sure felt real to me, I knew what was going on and I was awake not dreaming. I have no explanation for these events or why they happened but they were real as far as I know.
