Dogs' Death Angels
by Skye F.

In March of 1996, my Shepherd/Husky dog, Aragon, was 10 years old. He began to lose his circulation in his rear legs. As time went on, this malady attacked his whole body, and it was then that I felt compelled to call the vet to come to my home and euthanize him. He was a dear pet and a good watchdog who always knew his perimeters of our 20 acres on the mountain where we lived.

The evening before he died, I was sitting watching television and Aragon was lying across from me. All of a sudden, he looked over my left shoulder and growled. As I turned to see what it was that he saw, I saw nothing there. Then he looked over my right shoulder, growled and barked. Again, I saw nothing, but when I turned back to look at him, we both saw what I would describe as a "computerized spider" the size of a basketball floating upward from the floor and disappearing into the ceiling. It was that night that he took a turn for the worse, and the next day had to be put down.

Then in October 2000, another dear pet, Scooter, part Lhasa Apso/Poodle, was 10 years old. He began to run in circles, hitting his head on anything he could find to ease the pain of what turned out to be a brain tumor. Again while watching television, both Scooter and I saw what I describe as a wire ball the size of a basketball, with an inner sphere, and all of the wires were covered with what looked to be red beads, or as I describe them as cranberries. This too floated from the floor and disappeared through the ceiling. The next day I took Scooter with me to my daughter's home 65 miles away to watch my grandchildren for her. That evening Scooter got worse and collapsed after running in constant circles. I called emergency vet service and rushed him to the vet's office to check him and give him pills to ease his pain. He kept him overnight, at which time he succumbed.

I do believe that animals have a death angel, and in both of these cases, the angel came with a warning of impending death with different appearances, after which I lost both of the dogs. One would normally think it was imagination, but both of the animals saw these visions as well and watched as they disappeared above our heads.
