Strange
Shelled Creature

I read your article on "The Creature of the Dump." I have no knowledge of what the creature is, but was very fascinated by what I read. It said in the article that the woman was searching in a "dump outside of a small town in Oregon." You see, I live in a very small town in Oregon - Helix, to be exact. There are two dumps in the general vicinity, one here, and one outside of Athena, which is another small town near here. I don't believe that it is the dump here, as it doesn't fit the description, and if it was the dump here, I would have probably already have heard of it.
This general area has had many sightings of unknown animals. I myself have had a strange experience with one of my friends. Last year, graduation night for my friend, we were driving to his house in Athena, when we saw a creature stand up along the ditch in the road, and slowly walk out into a field. The creature walked on two legs, like a human, but had a shell, protective back, like a turtle, or a porcupine. It had claws that were easily visible, even in the darkness of the night, and it still gives me the creeps. There have also been sightings of a half-cow/half-man, or a half-horse/half-man. I have seen none of these, but very reliable sources in the Helix area have.
