The Haunted Pendant

My house was built eight years ago on the land of my great grandfather, so it's relatively new. I'm not afraid of ghosts or anything of that sort, and what happened to me this past summer had me very scared. It all began about two weeks after summer vacation had started. I had just woke up at about 9 in the morning and my parents had left for work. All the doors were locked and nobody else was home. I was watching TV in the living room about five or six feet from the hallway. All of a sudden, I heard the spare room door open, which was closed because I had gotten dressed and shut it. Then the closet door was opened and something was rooting around in my closet. After that, whatever it was came down the hallway and put a music box with a praying hands pendent in the middle of the hallway, which had come from my closet. I had gotten the music box when my grandmother had passed away. I turned around, extremely scared, and saw the box in the hallway.

Finally after about five minutes, I got up the nerve to get up and check out the box, then I put it in the spare room under the bed and left to go up to my cousin's house. I got back and - lo and behold - it was in the hallway again. After about four more days of this strange happening, I broke the box, and the only remnant left was the praying hands pendent that was in the box. For about two days nothing happened. Then the next day the pendant started to move into the same spot the box had in the hallway. I picked it up and put on the dresser. I walked out of the room, got halfway down the hallway, then got the weirdest sensation, and the hairs in my neck and arms stood up on end. I turned around and the pendant was right behind the heel of my foot! It was following me! That happened for about two weeks and then stopped. To this day it has never happened again, and I can't figure out why the box and the pendant had moved, or who did it. Who was it?!
