My Angel, Billy

My ex-husband was very abusive. I suffered for 10 years being afraid to talk. Then the abuse turned from me to my children. I had surgery and was not suppose to walk up and down steps yet, but I did. I heard my babies screaming. I got up and to see what was happening. My ex-husband was beating my babies with a rope from his fishing boat anchor. I prayed and asked God to please help me protect my babies.

When this happened to my babies, I sought help to be able to go through the divorce. I met a man named Billy who was a social worker. I remember looking at him and seeing a glow around his head. He was not standing near a window, but it was as if the sun was shinning around him. He had beautiful blue eyes and soft pale skin. He was there for me. He coached me through and helped me gain the courage to go through my divorce.

Billy left town and I never saw him again. I do not know if he was indeed an angel, but I believe that God uses people for his work sometimes. In this case, Billy was my angel. I will never forget him.
