Ghost Visitations
by Jean C.

I have had ghosts visit me. One of them is my dear friend Stan, who was killed in a plane crash last year. And the other is my dead mother-in-law. Stan came while I was babysitting his teenage son for three weeks. I was asleep and the room became very cold, and I felt him nudging my shoulder (as he had done in the past) and I woke up. The most outstanding feature of these visits is that I was never one bit afraid. Stan just wanted to talk about his son, but he brought some other people with him that kept giving me information, and they were all standing around in my room talking. So, I started keeping a notebook by my bed to write things down. Mostly, they want to give messages to their loved ones. But, one of them was upset about the Mid-East situation and I really should have written that down. Then when my daughter's wedding was approaching, my mother-in-law Catherine woke me up one night to tell me the music she wanted played at the wedding (which is just like her). She woke me up and brought me into my computer room (I could smell her old perfume), and she sat here with me and told me the songs to download and listen to, like Mendelssohn, Trumpet Voluntaire, Lohengrin, and the songs from "Fiddler on the Roof." She came three nights in a row. At the wedding on May 18th, I spoke with other family members who said she has been to visit them too. Now I miss their visits. They are all so talkative! It was like they still miss the contact with this world.
