Italian Ghost

I am an Australian and have an Italian friend. He was born in Australia, but his parents are very much old country Italian, both having been born there. He told me this story some time ago, but I will never forget it. My friend's mother awoke for no reason early one morning to see her own mother standing in the door-way of the bedroom, staring at her. At this point, I must state that the "person" in the door way was still living in Italy. My friend's mother leapt out of bed in astonishment and the "figure" disappeared. They received a phone call the next morning telling them of the death of my friends mother in Italy, corresponding to the same time she appeared in the room here in Australia. It seems like she wanted to make a last visit to her daughter before she passed over to the other side. I swear this is true.
