Another Chupacabras Sighting

It was late one evening on April 17, 2001, and I had a few of my best friends over and we were all sitting in the back yard with a couple of flashlights because we just got back from a walk. Then my friend said she heard this noise when she went to put the dogs in the garage. We started laughing at her because we thought she was nuts. Then she said, "Well, if you don't believe me go over there and listen for it yourselves." So she pointed out where she heard the noise. We weren't even half way there when we saw something emerging from the bushes with what looked like a rat in its mouth. We stopped and shined a flash light in its direction. The shine from the flashlight made its eyes glow a red like color. We think it must have been scared of the flashlight because it started to make this loud screeching noise. My friend, who stayed behind, yelled out that she was getting nauseated and ready to pass out. The thing in the bushes started to leap toward us, and we started to back up. We began to run inside, and as we did the creature followed us. We closed the door behind us. A few seconds later, a foul odor approached the door just as the creature did. My friend screamed and the creature ran off. That's the last we saw, heard or smelled of it.
