It Sat On My Bed
by Susie B.

It happened about two years ago, but I will never forget it. I get up early in the morning to prepare my husband's breakfast and lunch to go to work. This one morning, about 5:30 a.m. when my husband left to work and my two boys where sound asleep, I went to my room to go back to bed I laid on my left hand side with my back toward my bedroom door; my door was wide open. Just as I closed my eyes, I felt and heard the footsteps of someone who came into my room. I laid there still because I thought it was one of my boys who occasionally have the habit of climbing into bed with me once there dad leaves. A few seconds went by and I did not hear nothing else, so I sat up to see nothing there was nothing there I laid back down. As I once again closed my eyes, I heard the noise of someone walking around my bed like if they where dragging themselves. I thought to myself, Oh it's Robert (my son); he's trying to scare me and he's probably on his hands and knees at the foot of my bed. So I just laid there waiting for him to say something or touch me, but no. A few minutes later, something - I have no idea what - sat on the edge of the bed, but it was a really weird feeling. It leaned against my legs and I could actually feel this. I felt a breathing sensation, heavy at first, then lighter and lighter until it left. I even remember when it sat on my bed; my headboard squeaked just as if anyone would have sat on the bed. I was so freaked out I just laid there. I remember very lightly raising my head up toward my feet and there was nobody there that I could see. About a minute after this thing left, I looked around my bed and ran down the hall to check the boys and they where both sound asleep.
