The Thing
Under the Bed

This happen to a friend around 1971. When she was about 15 years old, her dad was dying from cancer; he could not get out of bed. One Sunday morning, his wife and daughter were going to church and he was left in the house alone. Two hours later when they returned, they heard screaming, so they ran in the house to see what was happening to her father. They open the door and could see that he had been crying for a while. When he saw them, he pointed under the bed and said, "He's under there."
They both went on their knees and saw this four-foot-long creature with horns and a long wagging tail, smiling at them... and then disappeared. The father said that as soon as the mother and daughter left, that thing appeared and started pulling his hair and when he would start crying, the thing would go to the foot of the bed and start tickling his feet until he was laughing and go back to the front of the bed and start pulling his hair again. The father said that the creature was doing this the whole time they were at church. Weird or what!
