The
Ghost in White
by Natassja
I was recently at my grandparents' house in Ocean Shores, Washington. All of the rooms in the house were taken, so I got to sleep on an air mattress in the living room. At around 1:00 a.m., I woke from a dead sleep. I sat up a little in my bed and looked around. I turned my head to the right and saw what appeared to be a man walking right next to my bed – I mean RIGHT there! It looked like he was wearing a faded white bath robe. I kind of thought it was my dad, so naturally I said, "Dad, what are you doing?"
It did not answer or make any notice of me and kept walking. So again I said, "Dad..." It turned around and looked straight at me. I couldn't make out a face. It stared for what seemed like hours. For some reason, I wasn't scared. And then it turned and kept walking until it faded (yes, faded) into the darkness of the living room.
