Strange UFO

This is a weird story about my father. He told me some time ago that (I don't remember by what circumstance), he found himself alone at night in a big open field at the edge of our town (which is a very small, "green" town in Romania, surrounded by woods and hills - it has about 12,000 people). Anyway, he made a big effort telling me this (and I remember him being scared even while he told me).

He said he saw an object, a little smaller than a human's head, that was flying in a linear path with constant speed six feet above the ground. The weird object seemed exactly like an uncooked egg (but without its shell). It was like a glowing pale-yellow slime that had no exact form (cause its shape was of fluid type and it was changing constantly), like the inside of an egg he said. He looked at it sweating in terror and then he ran away as fast as he could. That was a few years ago when he told me and neither me or my father have brought it up ever since. But because of the manner in which he told me that story, I'm definitely inclined to believe every word of it.
