Song from a Ghost
by Anonymous
After my youngest daughter was born (in 2000 ) she was six months old and I was living with my parents. My mother, stepfather and myself were the only ones home (please keep this in mind). We are all smokers and I didn't want anyone smoking in the apartment with my new baby in the house, so we all went out side to smoke.
My daughter had been asleep for about two hours. The baby monitor was on in my room where she was sound asleep. All of a sudden, my mom and I heard talking from the monitor that we had outside with us. We just looked at each other. Then I would hear my daughter laugh like someone was playing with her. At first I thought that, ok, maybe we were getting signal from another apartment. But the talking quit and the female that was talking started singing - and it was the same voice we had heard talking. The woman was even saying my daughter's name in the song (Allianna).
I went to check on my daughter and my mom told me that as soon as I opened the door the singing stopped. When I went in the room, there was no one there. So I went back outside and the singing had started again. I asked my mom if she knew who the female was that was singing and talking to my daughter. She looked at me and smiled warmly. She said that it was her great-great-grandmother who had passed away before I was born. Tell me that is not strange! The hair still stands up on the back of my neck. This happened in Bethany, Oklahoma.
