Angelic
Assistance

Twice in my life, I have felt my guardian angel. The first time was when I was married to an abusive man that I had come to hate. For six months I sat around trying to think of a way to actually kill him and get away with it. After one specially traumatic incident involving guns, I had a clear-cut chance to kill him and get away with it. He had just five minutes earlier told his mother, father and son that he would kill me. We parted ways in the middle of the field, and his mother, father and son went to their home, and we went back to ours. He stood aside to let me go through the door first and when I did, he struck me very hard in the mouth. Where my teeth had cut my lip open, blood spurted out. I still had a pistol in my hands and I raised the gun to fire at him and kill him. Four times, and every time, it felt like a force or unseen hand pushed my hand with the gun downward and I fired at his feet. I was an excellent shot with the gun, and I truly wanted to shoot him dead center, but I feel to this day, that the Guardian Angel would not let me do it. I finally let him go and eventually divorced him and have been glad for the rest of my life that I was not able to do this terrible deed.
The other time was much later in life, and I had become enamored with the bust of Nefertti and had decided that I wanted her to be my guardian angel. when i said my prayers at night i would often ask her to come be my guardian angel. One night, as I was sitting on the bed saying the usual prayer about her being my angel, I felt a sharp jab in the ribs and heard either with my ears or my brain, "I'm your Guardian Angel and I'm getting tired of this." I quickly looked right and left and saw nothing on either side of me, but I said to the air, "Okay, I'm sorry, you're my Guardian Angel." Never did that again, and haven't been jabbed in the ribs again either. I am sure there were many times she assisted me and I didn't know it, but that time I feel she spoke to me in a very vexed tone of voice.
