Haunted
Lighthouse

In Fairport Harbor, Ohio (East of Cleveland), the lighthouse museum (situated, of course, in a lighthouse) was reputed to be haunted by a cat. The curator, Pamela Brent, who lived there for four years often saw the wispy spirit of a gray cat. She also felt it jump onto her bed at night. People told her she was crazy, but recently, when air conditioning vents were being installed, the mummified corpse of a gray cat was found in the wall. Historians found that one of the old lighthouse keepers' wives kept several pet cats while living there.
