Three Weird Experiences
by Terry G.

I would like to pass on to you some experiences of mine. I would like to preface this by saying that I do not take things at face value - unusual incidents or coincidences usually have a simple or logical explanation. However, I cannot think of a logical answer for the following:

1: In the early '70s, I was playing bass guitar in a band. One night during a gig, we were part way through a song when I heard my future wife call my name with an inflection of terror in it. I put my guitar down and went straight to her at the far end of a crowded hall. When I reached her I asked her if she was okay, she said yes and asked me why I was there. I said I heard her call me. She said she panicked and thought of me when two guys started a fight next to her (which I didn't see), but she did not call out aloud! The other guys in the band did not hear her either, they just couldn't figure out what the heck was going on when I just suddenly disappeared from the stage.

2: I was working as a cleaner in an office building, part of which had been converted from a residential address. When I walked into one of these converted rooms, I saw a man sitting in a chair facing me. I only saw him briefly, but long enough to be able to describe him. A heavy-built man of (to me) European origin, in his 50s, dark hair, cream/khaki colored shirt, dark trousers, and black shoes. He was sitting in a lounge chair - not an office chair. What I saw was so clear I could identify him if I saw him again. I tried to find out if there were any records as to who used to live there but according to the office manager, they were not available. There have been times when I have caught something out of the corner of my eye, which can be put down to a car passing a window or the reflection off something through a partly open doorway, but this was a full on look me in the eye confrontation. Cleaning THAT room was never the same again.

3: Another band story (different band). Female vocalist (wife of male vocalist, daughter of drummer) announced at a rehearsal that she was pregnant. I find it difficult to describe what I felt, but it seemed to be a terrible sense of dread or foreboding when she said it. The following week at rehearsal she told us the fetus was already dead when she made the announcement and she miscarried the next day.

More questions than answers!
