Chupacabras Visit
by Sonoran P.

It was a cold February morning, and as usual I woke up and began doing the usual. I went to the kitchen and saw a note, stating that my mother went to the doctor and was coming a few hours later. After reading that, I began to prepare my breakfast and I turned on the TV. Suddenly I heard a window break, so I went to see what had happened. I heard noises, so I got real frightened since I was alone at the house. I grabbed a golf club and peeked inside the room where the window broke. When I saw what was it I got paralyzed. Climbing in my bed was a creature I had never seen before, and it appeared to be hurt, because it seemed it could not move well. Still, with the golf club in my hands, I gave a step nearer and that thing hissed horribly. It shrieked in an unworldly manner, which made me even more scared. I did not move, I just stared at the creature. It was small, about the size of a large rabbit, and it was dark in color and had reddish eyes. It had wings and a spine of quills in its back, and had a semi reptilian face. It appeared to have hair though, and small legs. I thought it was a sort of large bat, but when I clearly saw his face I instinctively raised the golf club. It hissed and showed its large yellowish teeth, which appeared to be sharp, like those of a crocodile. Suddenly, I discovered it wasn't really hurt, as it hopped out of the window and rapidly hopped across the street into the oak trees. I ran for the camera and took a quick snap, but the thing was very far it can't be seen well. I think it was a chupacabras or those sort of creatures... or maybe it was simply a large bat that somehow bopped into my window. It was windy that day. The shrieks it gave made it strange, and its red, glazing eyes are something not easy to forget.
