Fever Visions
by Lynn A.

I had a vision three years ago, and it is as fresh in my mind as if it happened yesterday. I had my gall-bladder removed and went home the next day. I started spiking fevers of 103 F. that afternoon and was readmitted to the hospital. I was put on five different antibiotics and continued to get worse. Five days later, the doctor came in and told me there was nothing else he could do and transferred me to another hospital in Savannah Georgia. The doctor there told my family, without my knowledge, that if I made it through the night I would probably recover.

I was lying in the bed, my husband by my side, my mother and sister sitting beside me. I smelled this horrible odor and it was driving me crazy. I thought it was my pillow, I thought it was under the pillow and insisted my family search for the source of the odor. No one else could smell it. I ask my husband to smell my hair, my face, there had to be a source. Then I saw him. He was about 7 feet tall, very black. His face was scarred from what looked like an acne problem when he was young. His arms hung long by his side, he was totally naked, his penis hung to the floor and when he walked it dragged behind him. I yelled at him to get out and told my family to make him leave, but they could see nothing. I remember my husband wiping my forehead with a wash cloth and trying to calm me. The man turned before he got to my bed and left. The odor went with him.

I looked at the foot of my bed and there was this blonde lady, dressed in a white shirt and black pants. She had a black notebook with a pen attached. She was asking me questions about my life and writing them down. After about two minutes, she left, telling me she would be back. I begged my family to find her. I gave them a description of her and they told me there was no one like that who was in my room. They described the nurses and besides them, there was no one.

Needless to say, I made it through that night, by refusing sleep. I felt after those visions if I slept I would be gone. I know I started falling into a sleep two times and I woke with a start. I have never known what to think of those visions, some think it was the dark side and the light side. All I know is that this memory is with me forever and as crisp as the moment they happened.
