Weird
Dream Come True

I'm 11 years old, but I can assure you I am not making this story up and, no, I did not imagine it. I come from Devon, which is one of the most haunted places in Britain. I am writing to tell you about the paranormal experience my friends and I had at a Girl Guide meeting back on the 1st April, 2003.
Our leader sent us out to collect as many different types of leaves we could find. Of course, as so many of us are very superstitious (especially me, as I take an interest in witchcraft) and there is a very old building right by our HQ, we decided to investigate it to see if we could find a ghost. The building is called Everest. Several girls told me they had seen faces in the same window; however, they had not been with the other girls who claimed to have seen it, so I went to take a look. As soon as I saw the window, I realized something that shocked me very much. I recognized the window, the red velvet curtains and the rather distinctive smash in the glass from a dream I had had quite a few months ago. I also remembered from that dream something about the clocks going forward an hour, which is exactly what happened the Sunday before that night. Also I had had a dream just a night before the guide meeting about me and a few friends from guides spending the night in Everest with ghosts haunting us! I was very shocked but not particularly surprised. You see, over the past year I have been experiencing many signs of a psychic ability in myself, including getting seven out of twelve on the hidden images test on your site, which according to the result page is pretty significant.
Anyway, on this night at Guides, I saw a light go on in an upstairs room around the back of Everest, even though the whole building was locked. Moving on to the subject of another Guide meeting, when a group of friends and I had to do a scout pace from the Guide hut down to Everest. When we got there, we started going through the tunnel, created by the scaffolding, up to the huge front doors of Everest. I was standing in there with my friend, Vicky, when I suddenly noticed a shadow fall across us, as if another person was coming to stand with us, but our other friends were standing outside. About two seconds later, Vicky screamed, grabbed my arm and ran out of the tunnel, and up the steep hill to the Guide hut, our friends running behind us. When we got there, she was completely white. She said she saw a person standing by us, who disappeared.
