Foreboding Grim Reaper

This happened when I was around seven or eight. Right now I'm 17. It was a stormy night, and being the small child I was, I was scared, naturally. I went to my mother's bed (my parents are divorced) and asked if I could get in with her at around midnight. She moved over and I got in. I started to sleep a little better, but about three hours later, I awoke suddenly, as I tend to be a sporadic kind of sleeper. When I awoke, the scariest thing was in front of me. A specter type outline of the Grim Reaper was about six or seven feet away from me. It stood there, glaring, for about 20 or 30 seconds. It didn't talk, it just stared at me, and I hid under my mother's covers. I wonder now if that image of death was a foreshadowing of events, because since my freshman year of high school, six kids have died or have gotten into horrible accidents. That's six kids in less than four years. I've never told anyone about this, but I have always been a believer in ghosts and the paranormal. I still cant figure it out though.
