The
Phantom Car

About three years ago, this girl and her family moved into the neighborhood and we became friends. During March of that year, we were playing in my other neighbor's yard. Our neighbor, whose house we were at, had just come home from work and we had greeted her and her young daughter. It was about 5:00 p.m. and we were playing with a doll she had just gotten. The neighbor and her daughter were still outside and were about two meters from us when I heard my friend gasp. I looked up to see what looked like the car from "Grease" barreling toward us. The car was about to slam into the tree my friend and I were playing under, when the driver took the corner too hard and the car flipped and disappeared! At first I thought I was daydreaming or something, but it turns out both my friend and I had seen the same thing while my neighbor and her daughter - only two meters from us getting the mail - had seen and heard nothing. Nobody in the neighborhood who was outside had noticed anything.
