Insane Haunting

I live in one of the oldest houses in my town. It's about 190 years old. It was built by an extremely wealthy family at the time. But when the oil in our town was gone, they became extremely poor. To our knowledge, the husband went completely insane. He supposedly cut his wife into pieces and then killed himself. Her fingers are sitting in our town history museum.

Our house has always been a little odd at times. When I was a child, I used to be terrified of the cellar. It was always freezing cold down there. There was also a passage leading upstairs. Every time I go down there, strange things happen. Once, I heard crying, then whispering behind me. Five seconds later, a paint can fell from the wall.

I've always been afraid of my bedroom too. It was originally the attack. It has a small door behind my bed leading to a smaller attack. That room always becomes extremely cold when people become angry. Once saw someone staring at me while sitting on my bed. At first I saw it was my sister, but then she stared at the small door and vanished. Since then, I've changed bedrooms and haven't gone to the cellar since.
