Backward EVP
by James W.

I had a friend who recorded a sound once and we thought that it had to be some kind of ghost or something. I was at his house (his name is Dean) and we were messing with this RCA tape recorder, and no one else was there. It was late at night, and no one lives anywhere around us, so it couldn't have been outside noise. Anyway, we walked out of the room and came back and the tape was playing (we must have left it on, we guess) and so we rewound and played it. It had some garble, and he was like, "Dude, they are talking backwards." So he told me the other day that he had his uncle hook it up into a pc and reverse it and the voice says, "I'm going to take his soul." I didn't hear this, so I can't confirm, but I was just wondering, is it possible that a ghost might talk backwards?

Also, I would bet my life on the fact that there is a ghost in my grandparents' house (it's basically shown itself to me. It appears as a blue light that floats from the back room out through the hallway into the dining room and into the kitchen.) I want to go back there to record and see if maybe he will talk, but I'm worried about physical harm. Can a ghost harm me? I only see/hear it when my grandparents are in Hawaii in winter and the house is empty (friends and I go up there to hang out) and I don't think the ghost likes people there, so it like tries to ward them off. I'm worried that I'll get attacked.
