Why
Babies Don't Talk

I have three children, one
of whom has been since she was old enough to speak, saying things that I could
not understand where she got them from. She had been with me all of her life.
And nobody could have taught her the things she would talk about. One day she
said to me when she was four years old,
"Mom, know why God made it that we can't speak as soon as we are
born?" I said "No, why?" She said, "Because if we could talk
as soon as we were born, we would tell! We don't speak until we are two or three
years old because we need that long to forget where it was we came from."
