Changed
By the Lights
by Scott Davis
In 1983, my stepsister Sherry Carnes and I were outside lying back on the trunk of our parents' car in the driveway in Phoenix, Arizona, and it was a very clear night. There were very few street lights in our area, so the sky was always full of stars. The belt of the Milky Way was clearly visible and we were looking at the stars for quite a while. It was about 7:00 p.m., and as we looked I noticed that three stars close together were moving ever so slightly. As we watched these three stars or balls of light, they seemed to be teetering or wobbling back and forth a little, moving like nothing we had ever seen, and they seemed to be very high up. They were hovering up and to the east of us by the McDowell mountains in the Scottsdale, Arizona area. They held a triangle formation and stayed there for about 30 to 40 seconds. Then one of them shot off to the south, I would have to call it light speed because I have never to this day seen anything move so fast. Then the second shot off to the east at about the same speed. I could not believe what I was seeing. The last ball of light stayed for about another 20 seconds and then it began to climb straight up. It climbed slowly at first and then accelerated until we couldn't make out where it was.
There is no technology even to this day that can go the speed at which these crafts traveled. Maybe it's just me, but since that night my intuition or karma has been nothing but pinpoint exceptional. I can see things. In 1987 some friends and I were exiting a very late movie. As we stood there talking I for some reason asked my friend Greg Hall to look at the lights. He said, "What?" I said to him again, "Greg, look at the lights." At that exact moment as he looked up at the parking lot light, the entire parking lot turned off and went black. Every light turned out at once. Greg fell to the ground and was looking at me with the strangest look I have ever seen, he almost seemed scared of me, like I was strange.
Still to this day I don't know why I asked him to look at the lights. In 1995 my wife and kids and I were traveling to the store. For some strange reason I had the feeling of being unsafe so I quickly put my seat belt on. Not two seconds later, a car traveling the wrong way on the access road hit a car right in front of us and my wife could not stop and we hit the car going about 30 mph. The accident totaled the car, but all of us were safe and unharmed. In 2003, my wife, kids and I were in a three-hour movie and it was Christmas time. I had the feeling of danger or fire in my mind. I leaned over and asked my wife if she had left the Christmas Tree lights on when we left, she said no. When we arrived home from the movie I could smell something burning. I followed the smell and to my shock I found that my 16yr old daughter had left a candle burning in her room while we were at the movie and it had started to burn a shelf above her desk. I can choose a time to leave the house to go do shopping or something and if I leave when I feel like leaving, I can travel without traffic and hit every green light on the way. That night seeing the lights did something to me. Maybe it opened my third eye or that place in our brains that lays dormant until something profound happens to open it. I just know that what I saw that night was not of this world and it somehow changed me.
