Running Spectre

My story took place around June, 1999, near the town of Five Points, California. I was driving down the highway one night. I was heading home. There was a full moon and the sky was clear, and because of the moonlight I could almost drive without my headlights. On this night there was hardly any traffic. As I drove along I was starting to feel sick. My stomach didn't feel too good. I had been drinking at my friends' house that day, but not that much. Only three beers. So it couldn't have been that. Maybe it was something I ate. I pulled over, got out, ran to a ditch and let it go!
As I walked back to my car, I could see someone standing on the other side of the road. I couldn't see his face, only the outline. He was standing there with his hands on his hips like a Superman pose. He was all dark... like a silhouette. I stood there thinking, this is a dangerous situation. It's night time, I'm in the middle of nowhere, there's someone or something watching me, I could get hurt! Believe me! I was shaking! But nothing scared me more than what happened next! I can still see it; it scares me to think about it.
As I was looking at the dark figure, it slowly put its arms down along its side. Then a smile started to appear on the face. A pure white smile! It got wider and wider. The effect was like what you see with a black light. I stepped backward; I wanted to run. Just then the headlights of a car appeared down the road. I looked back at the stranger and it was still there staring at me with that scary smile. Then it took off running and jumped behind some bushes.
A couple of months later, I was driving down the same stretch of highway on a full moon. I was going home. It was late and I was tired. Suddenly, I noticed something outside. Something was keeping pace with my car! I looked... it was that same strange figure running along side my car! I was going around fifty! It had that same hideous smile! I stepped on the gas, but it kept up with me. I was panicking! I came up to a crossroad where this thing made a turn and I never saw it again!
