Lady in White
by Michael B.

I am not one to admit to things that have no logical explanation, but a series of events in the last 10 years of my life had led me to believe otherwise. I live at home with my mother, sister and her son in a house my mother purchased 12 years ago. The first event in a series of many that bewilders me was one night while my sister was away (her son not born yet). My mother and I had just turned in for the night. I heard someone whistling in the hallway. I thought is was my mother, so I thought nothing of it until she knocked on my door and asked it was me. The next instance happened one night when both my sister and I each had a friend stay over. My friend and I slept in the lounge room and my sister and her friend stayed in her room. Just when I was about to close my eyes, I saw a lady in white walk past the doorway between the lounge and hallway. I thought it was my sister or her friend going into the spare room, so I went to see. I found the spare room empty. This was only one way that the person could have gone. I went to their room and asked if either had gotten up and gone for a walk, but they hadn't. I immediately thought that I must have seen headlight reflections from cars through the window, so I stayed up until the next car drove past. Finally, when a car came, its headlights reflected on the wall looked nothing like what I saw. This same white lady has been seen by two of my ex-girlfriends (both of whom left immediately) and my friend (who also left immediately). These sightings have been at various times through the years.
