Bigfoot
Close Call

One night at 11:00 p.m., a friend and I were going to a hiking trail and I parked on the side of the road. I got out and started on the trail. About 100 yards up the trail I heard some sounds that were like branches cracking. I stopped and got the flash light out and listened for a moment. I didn't hear anything, so I turned the flashlight on and looked toward the noise. Nothing. My friend and I were a little scared, but we kept on going. I heard the noise again and turned on the flashlight - and there was a hairy man about eight feet tall! It was a Bigfoot! It was holding on to a tree leaning out from behind it. My friend sneezed and it quickly pulled it self behind the tree. It slowly leaned back out. We were extremely scared. We slowly walked backward and turned off the flash light so maybe it would go away. Then we heard the noise again. I turned the flashlight back on and it was a little closer! So we kept it on and walked back wards, hoping it wouldn't come after us. Then my friend started going faster. I didn't want to get left behind, so I sped up. We started going faster and faster. We turned around and ran. We got in the car and started it. Then the creature took off toward us! I floored the gas pedal and peeled out just before the Bigfoot reached the car - and we got away just in time.
