Grandpa's
Last Visit

The night my grandfather passed away, my father was out of town for a union meeting. It was late at night and as I was a book worm I had snuck out of bed and turned on the light to read. Suddenly I heard my mother make a startled noise and jump up. I instinctively knew something wasn't right and thought maybe there was an intruder in the house or something. I could tell mom was upset or perplexed about something, but she told me to get back to bed.
Then the phone rang with the news that my grandfather had passed away suddenly. Later I learned that my mother, prior to receiving the phone call, had a dream or vision in which she at first saw a pinpoint of light that blossomed into a beautiful design of light. During this she was told, "There is life after death."
