Shocking Premonition

Last evening as I was cooking supper, my two children were outside riding their bicycles and playing. As I said, I was cooking and not really thinking or concentrating on anything, when I had what I call a "flash." I "saw" my 11-year-old's face, saw his bicycle fly through the air and I saw blood. I didn't hear anything, but could feel his whimper and distress. I immediately dropped what I was doing and ran to the front door. There both of my children were, riding their bikes, perfectly fine. My husband thought I was nuts and didn't understand my urgency to check on the kids.

I told the kids to put their bikes in the garage and come in the house NOW. My 11-year-old said, "Okay, mom, but watch this." I yelled "Noooo!" He ramped before i could get another word out. He and the bike both went flying through the air. He crashed and slid down the road. His little face was twisted in pain and he whimpered (just like in my premonition). I ran to him and saw horrible "road rash" and a lot of blood and abrasions on his arm. We cleaned him up and he is fine, although a little sore.

But I saw this before it happened!
