Church Camp Ghost
by Josh T.

I'm almost 16. Last summer I was at a church camp for a week in Hudson, Florida. It was a really nice church camp with lots to do. Each night, we had to have our lights out in our cabins at about 11:00 p.m. On the last night of camp, before we returned home, all the guys in our cabin started talking. Then we got on the subject of spooky things. The two councilors started telling me the story of the green-eyed lady. Keep in mind that these are not men who are known to lie and swear to god it's the truth and have witnesses.

It started out that a semi truck that had just pulled away one night from delivering food to the camp, hit and killed an old lady on the side of the road one foggy night. About a year later, a few camp councilors were driving out of the camp one night to go somewhere. They got about 1-1/2 miles down the road when they pulled over because there was an old woman standing in the middle of the road. They got out of the car and were shocked to see that this woman was levitating about three feet off the ground! She looked up at them and she had these bright green, shinning eyes that ejected green beams.

They got in the car, turned around and floored it all the way back. As they were driving, they looked in the rear-view mirror and saw the lady levitating above the ground, traveling at the same speed as the car! She disappeared later and wasn't seen again until some time later. This time it was in the camp, and she supposedly chased a councilor back to his cabin and disappeared. The kid didn't come out of his room for a week. People say they still see her in the woods around the camp, at least three or four times a year. Some even say that sometimes they see green lights, shinning through the woods at night.
