The
Talking Cat
by Danny
A few years ago, I was teaching an Adult Sunday School Class at the Church that I attended. I got up about 4:00 a.m. one Sunday morning to study the lesson that I was about to teach at 10:00 that morning. About 4:30 a.m., I heard this weird sounding voice that said, "I love you. Let me in." It was very quite in the house, so I heard it clearly, and I was like, What was that?
Then I heard it a second time. I went to the door, and looked out through a window that was built into the door. There was this black cat standing on its back legs, with its front paws in the air, and I watch as its lips formed the words, when it said once again, "I love you. Let me in." I couldn't believe what I was seeing. The movement of its lips as it was forming the words looked animated, like you would see in a movie that had a talking animal. It just didn't look real.
I opened the door and the cat ran in the house. I found out a few hours later that an uncle had died early that same morning. My daughter wanted to keep the cat, and then was scared of it after she said that she heard it calling her name. My wife took it to a vet, and they said that it had leukemia and put it to sleep. But this actually happened, believe it or not. I've never had an experience like that before and hope that I never have one like it again.
