Heard Mom's Thoughts

A few years ago, my mom was in her room paying bills and I was in my room cleaning. It was really late and I was trying to get my room clean so I could go out the next day with a friend. My mom kept calling me into her room to do some chores for her and I was starting to get mad. So, I went back to my room to finish cleaning, when I heard her call me again. As I was walking into her room I asked, "What do you want know?"

When I looked at her, her face was pale and she looked like she had seen a ghost. I ask what was wrong and she just looked at me. Finally she said, "Honey,I didn't call you." I asked her what she was talking about, that I had heard her call me. Then she said that she had thought it, that in her head she had called my name, but not out loud.
