Daughter's Doppelganger
by Margaret

Back in 1993 when my daughter Jaedy was five years old, I had one of the strangest experiences ever. It's important to know that her bedroom was only five steps away from mine. So our bedrooms were one in front of the other. But we slept with doors closed.

One night I left Jaedy sleeping in her room and I closed her door as usual. When I was almost asleep I felt someone looking at me. I opened my eyes and -- OH MY GOD!!! -- I saw my daughter standing in front of me! She was looking at me with an emotionless expression. I rubbed my eyes to confirm I wasn't dreaming. I spoke to her and she disappeared right in front of my eyes. I was in shock! I couldn't believe my eyes!

So I went to her room and I felt a heavy atmosphere. For my biggest surprise, she was there sleeping, then that's when I truly was scared to death!

That was only the first time, but it wasn't the last time I would see "IT".

I am Catholic, so I went to talk to the priest. The only thing he told me was to pray for my daughter and to take her to the church. But it didn't stopped the situation.

I got used to it, and tried to figure any explanation. I asked my daughter a lots of questions, but she seemed to be perfectly normal and she didn't knew about those things that were going on at our house.

The last time I saw "IT" was four years ago when my daughter became a teenager. When I found out about doppelgangers in this website, and saw that other people had similar experiences, it made me felt a little relieve.

And now I wish I could know what my daughter's doppelganger was trying to say, or what IT wanted from me that IT was visiting me for eight years.
