Time Glitch in Kansas
by Bill
In Salina, Kansas in July of 1962, I had an odd experience. I traveled from point A to point B in an extremely short amount of time.
It was a very hot summer day and I had just called my girlfriend (my wife now of 43 years). I told her that I would walk down to her house to see her. She asked me not to because it was too hot. I told her that I would be okay. I estimated that it would be a walk of about 30 to 45 minutes.
I stepped out the front door of my home and instantaneously I was standing in front of her house. I knocked on the door and she answered. She insisted that I must be playing a joke on her and called from one of the neighbors because she had just hung up the phone and just walked across the living room to answer the door.
1: I did not know any of her neighbors and
2: Cell phones did not exist at that time.
This had never happened to me before or since. I have no way to prove this, but it is a real experience to me.
