Your True Tales Mysterious Stigmata Lady This took place in March of 1964 in Chicago, Illinois. It was the day of my confirmation and my godmother wanted to share with me a special collection she had. She opened a white box and inside of it were mementos from her visit with a lady who had stigmata. Inside was a photo of a smiling lady sitting outside in her rose garden in a chair, and the photo showed the blood that flowed from the same places that Jesus suffered during the crucifixion. In a clear box were pink rose petals. This lady would pray for the sick in her garden and would present them with a rose for a keepsake. I looked at the petals carefully, and on many of them were little smiling faces of people in very crisp detail. The rose petals looked fresh and pink, just like they had just fallen from the whole flower. My aunt said the rose was whole when she put it in the box and that the images appeared after. Supposedly, they were images of people in heaven. I remember one that reminded me of Snow White; they were vivid. She had little vials of a red liquid, which she said was blood that came from the wounds of the lady. She removed one of the stoppers and the rose smell that came from the liquid was amazing; I can still remember it. This lady lived out in the country in Indiana or Iowa and was known for praying for healing for the sick in her garden. I think she herself died young, so she must have been only able to help others. I love to grow roses, and you can see why. < Previous story | Next story >
