Great-Grandmother's
Spirit

This is a true story I'd like to share. What makes this story interesting isn't the sighting of my great-grandmother's spirit, but my age when it happened because I remember it like it was yesterday.
In 1978, my great-grandmother died of natural causes. I was three years old at the time. After the funeral, which I don't remember, the family gathered at her and my great-grandfather's house, which I do remember. I remember my sister, who was five at the time, standing (or sitting) in the bedroom in which my grandmother slept. She was crying. I was standing in the doorway of the bedroom and (I remember this very well) I saw my grandmother float down from the ceiling. She passed through her mattress, then stopped between the floor and the bottom of the bed. She wasn't on the floor, but a couple of inches above it, just floating in mid-air. She looked at my sister and said, "Don't worry, Amy. I'm with Jesus now." With that, she floated back up through the ceiling.
Another strange happening... When I was a child, my sister and I slept in bunk beds. I, of course, being the smallest got the pleasure of climbing the ladder every night. I was lying in bed one night and a black hand with a very long arm came out of the ceiling and started to grab my face. I slapped the hand, and I felt it. I wasn't dreaming. After I hit it, it went back up into the ceiling.
One more... Also as a child, I would often stay the night with my grandparents. This only happened when I stayed there. I slept on the couch in the living room. Time and time again, I would wake up in the middle of the night and there would be this small triangle-shaped "thing" hovering just above my face. This was a solid object. I could grab it and actually pull myself up off of the couch. This scared me so I would get up and go sleep in my grandparents' bedroom floor. The object would follow me until I got to the bedroom, then it would be gone. I never actually saw it leave, so I don't know if it just disappeared or what.
