Flying Thing

I do not believe in paranormal activities or other things of such, but I can in no way explain this.

One night while driving with my uncle, we saw a figure in the night sky flying across a nearly full moon. It seemed very large, and had an awesome wingspan. If you were to imagine the black outline of a dragon silhouetted by the light of the moon, this would be what you would imagine. Or at least what I imagine.

My first rational thought was that it was a low flying airplane, but this could not be. Simply because we saw the wings flap in a very slow and methodical way. I have no explanation as to what this is, but I am open to suggestions.
