Shadow Person with Top Hat

When I was about 14-15 years old, my church up in Amarillo, Texas had a "lock-in," at which all the youth in church sleep all night inside the church. Around 4:00 a.m., everyone lay down to go to sleep, except me and my two friends who were still awake whispering to one another. All of a sudden, we spotted a dark black figure sitting down as if in a chair in the corner of the room. It was all black and I'm not quite sure what it wore except for the fact that it wore a black top hat on its head. It was such a dark figure that it had no eyes. It continued to stare at us for TWO hours straight. None of us could move – we all just lay there staring at it, and it wouldn't go away. The scary thing about the story was that all three of us saw it and talked about it the next day. One of the people was my best friend and she still remembers the terror of it all. Also, the next day we asked all the adults if any of them had been sitting in the corner for some reason, and they said no. There was absolutely no chair in the corner, and I even saw the room in the dark once more and there was nothing that could create a shadow there. I still remember that day, and the terror of it won't leave my mind.
