Recalls Past or Future Death?
by Emily
When I was very little, I think around two years old, my mother was reading while I was taking a nap. As usual, I got up on my own and came out and started talking to her in the living room. At first she didn't pay much attention because I guess I was a jabbermouth, but apparently I caught her ear after a couple minutes when she realized I was speaking in perfectly pronunced full sentences. I spoke well for my age, but still only in broken sentences. She said I was unusually serious.
I told her, "I was 27 and I was lying on the side of the road and they were trying to help me, but they couldn't." She didn't catch what I said before that. She asked me questions about it, asking me who I was talking about, and I told her it was me. I guess that's all I said and I soon forgot about it.
My mother told me this for the first time when I was around 12 or 13, prefacing it with, "I probably shouldn't tell you this..." She's only talked about it a couple times since when I've asked about it. She said the story itself could have just been a dream, albeit a strange one for a two year-old to have, but the way I said it, she describes like an adult, still gives her goose bumps. She's far from being prone to believing in things like this or telling stories.
I've always wondered if it was really paranormal, or just me being a strange kid, but if it was paranormal, could it have been a vision of a past life or of the future? I don't really believe in either phenomena, but I'll be a careful driver when I turn 27.
