Ghost or
Guardian Angel

When my daughter had her tonsils removed in the fourth grade, she had a horrible reaction to the anesthesia they used on her. Had severe headaches and throwing up. We spent two days in the hospital, which should have only been an outpatient service. We took her home on the third day with a handful of pain pills, ice packs and instructions to keep her still and in the bed for the next few days. Needless to say, I was very worried about her and prayed for her to get better quickly. Our first night home, I was awakened by a strange noise in the hallway, as if someone was pacing back and forth. My husband was at work, my daughter was asleep in her bed and her younger sister was at her grandmother's. I flipped on the hallway light and there outside my daughter's bedroom was a man. He had long red hair a full beard and mustache. This man was dressed in overalls and had a light tan shirt underneath; he was also wearing work boots.
I was scared to death, but there was also a feeling of peace that came over me. He gave me the most beautiful smile I have ever seen in my life and told me not to worry, that everything with my daughter was going to be alright. A feeling of happiness and wonderment came over me and I just knew that what he had told me was true. I started crying and thanked him. He said, "See you around," and actually walked through my daughter's bedroom door and into her room. After waiting for a minute I opened the door and looked in on her and she was still sound asleep, no sign of the "mystery" man. The next morning she woke up and asked for something to eat and drink... and I knew then that the man in the hall was sent from Heaven to let me know that she was going to pull through it alright.
I told my husband about it and he thinks that I was just dreaming and that I was wanting her to feel better so bad that I somehow conjured up this person in my mind. I know that he is her guardian angel and I am thankful to have him on our side.
