Lancashire Ghosts

About six years ago, I moved into a rented house in Lancashire, England. After about two weeks of living there, strange things started to happen. My wife at that time was sitting in the living room when splashes of water appeared on the chair from nowhere. We checked for leaks and found none. My niece went to the toilet and we heard her talking. We asked, "Who were you talking to?" She replied, "A little girl." Well, we thought she was telling tales and never thought any thing of it.

A couple of days passed and we heard heavy footsteps and banging on the walls while we were sitting watching TV. I opened the door to the stairway and saw nothing! One hour later, the bed upstairs was lifted and dropped with some force! So we decided to call the church in to see if we could take some action to send this spirit away. At first the church did nothing, but eventually they performed a blessing which sent the spirit to the next level. I believe the spirit did not realize that they had passed on - and we had invaded its space!
