Bouncing Light

For about three months, I have been on this exercise kick – I work out every day in the room next to mine. It was my little sister's room, but she got married and moved. Now the room is only furnished with futon close to the door, my bike and a large mirror facing the bike. I put the bike at the corner of the room and on the same wall there is a closet.

The first week I began to work out, I kept hearing some noise in the closet, like a banging and a scratching. I thought it was my other sister hiding away, but it was nothing, so I decided to leave the doors open. Every time I start to do my thing, I could see someone in the corner of my eye, but when I investigate, nothing is there.

A few days ago, my parents went out for a "date" and I decided I would work out while they were gone. I was listening to hide's band "Zilch." (For those of you who do not know, hide was a great Japanese rock star, but he committed suicide a few years ago.) I was singing along and remembered no one was home so I began to scream out the song. Before I knew it, I heard a knocking on the room door. I turned quickly and saw a light in the form of a star and it fell on the floor and bounced once, then it went under the futon, leaving a streak of light something like a shooting star.

Well, it shut me up... I never saw that before and I wonder what it was. Maybe it was hide telling me to shut up.
