Cross-Dressing Ghost
by Philip Delgado

It was the month of May in 1997, when I was leading a convoy of four vehicles in Zambales. I was general manager of a pre-press service bureau and I was with my staff for a summer outing sponsored by our company. I was with my wife (sitting in front) and two sons. At the back were two of my staff.

I was driving at around 2 a.m. on a highway with virtually an open field all around. I noticed a very large tree at the left side, about 50 meters away and as we approach it. I fixed my eyes on the ground, but somehow as we go nearer it, I discerned a human-like figure dressed in a funny costume. As I moved my eyes from the ground toward the face, I noticed that "she" was floating, and as we passed her by she smiled at us. All passengers were asleep except me and my wife. I can still completely recall her features. She was five feet two inches tall with white paint on her face. Dressed like a Geisha and with dangling earrings. But something wrong because I can tell that "she" is not a woman, but a man dressed in woman's clothes.

I asked my wife if she saw what I saw and told her to describe everything out of disbelief. We saw exactly the same thing and I tried to stop after about 200 meters to ask the drivers behind me if they saw this "lady." All of them did not see what we saw.
