Ghost
and the Keys
by Traci
This happened about four
years ago. My friend (we'll call her "D")... well, her son committed
suicide. He was 19 years old. He was also one of my younger sister's best friends.
We were all very close. When "D" got the knock at her door by the
police letting her know what happened, she immediately had them contact me.
I went to her home and with the police still there. We were told that he hit
a parked tractor trailer and a speed of approximately 100+ miles an hour. He
died of traumatic injuries and incineration. His body was completely unrecognizable.
The back of his car was the only thing not burned in this incident. So that's
how they found out who he was.
Other members of his family started showing up at the house and we were all
so devastated but starting looking in his room for an answer. After taking things
apart and going through his dresser and all, we couldn't find anything.
A few hours later, the commotion was getting worse. People were coming in and
out of the house; it was complete chaos. I left to go make arrangements to view
his body. The only thing recognizable was his green bandana on his head. (He
ALWAYS wore a bandana.)
I was extremely confused because there weren't answers. I starting bawling my
eyes out. Suddenly I wiped my eyes and there he stood right in front of me.
I couldn't believe this. I asked him what happened. He responded, "I couldn't
take it anymore. You'll find what you're looking for under my dresser drawer."
Then he was gone.
When I went back to his house through the crowd, I went back to his bedroom,
moved everything that was displaced and there it was! His suicide letter! He
said in the letter that he didn't want "D" to find it, so he hid it.
He knew she would be upset enough.
That night, once I went home, I woke up from a dead sleep for no reason. And
there he was again! All he said to me was, "The keys are under the bed."
I was confused about this because I had no clue what he was talking about. I
called "D" at 6:30 a.m. and asked her how she was doing. Of course
she was just as I suspected, a mess. I went to her house again to find out that
one of the people who had visited the previous day had lost their keys and had
to get a ride home. I remembered my vision, so I looked where he told me to.
Lo and behold, there they were.
I still see him every once in a great while, with his green bandana on his head.
He asks about my sister and he has a glowing white light surrounding him. This
is truly the most wonderful experience because I know he is happy now.
