Seeing Beyond This Life

I have always been able to see spirits and ghost since I was three. As I got older, the sightings began to slightly decrease. My husband and I were upstairs and our kids were sleeping. My husband said he was going to wash some clothes before bed and I walked to the bathroom and said I was going to take a quick shower. He walked down the stairs and then I turned to the bathroom doorway. I saw someone coming up the stairs. I looked over the banister and it was a little black girl with 1930s clothing with curly black hair and a pink ribbon.She looked down at each step she walked up. It had to be about 10 minutes, but it was like a lifetime.
I was surprised. I called my husband because it looked like a real little girl walking up my steps. She never looked up at me the entire time. I called for him and I waited at the top of the stairs for her to arrive, but she disappeared at the turn of my staircase. My husband came running up the stairs asking me what was wrong when I told him, but he said to forget about it and go to bed. I don't know who she is, like most of the people that I see that are dead. But she was the only one that appeared to me whole and cast a shadow against the wall, as if she was real. I was so frightened I didn't sleep for a couple of nights. My husband hates that I can see beyond this life, but it has been a curse and a gift.
