Visit from Dying Best Man

I was sleeping with my daughter and felt someone looking at me. I opened my eyes and at the end of my bed was my friend John who was my best man in my wedding. He was kneeling on one knee (he always joked about marrying me if my husband didn't). He was wearing his best outfit that I recognized but it was gleaming. I gasped and he looked as if he was sorry he scared me. He was dying of cancer in a hospice hospital in another state and he was in his 70s. He said, "Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye." John always repeated some words three times. He then disappeared. I thought I was dreaming so I got out of bed and walked around looking for him. He was no where to be found. A few months later he died and I called his sister after the funeral and told her about the visitation and his sister said that John visited her at her house in another state also and sat in her living room chair and talked to her. We were quite amazed and shocked at this experience. Ill never forget it.
